In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Portugal demonstrated varied performance, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 9.5K by the end of June. The app maintained a robust user base with weekly active users fluctuating between 730K and 860K throughout the quarter.

Via Verde experienced a gradual increase in downloads, reaching approximately 4.9K by late June. Its active user base also grew steadily, closing the quarter with over 102K active users.

Google Earth had modest download numbers, typically ranging between 2.7K and 3K weekly. Active users initially declined but rebounded strongly in June, peaking at about 59K.

Map Drive - Radar, Speedometer saw a fluctuating download trend, starting at 3.3K and ending at approximately 1.7K. The active user count remained relatively stable, hovering around 9K.

Lastly, GPS Navigation & Map Direction showed an upward trend in downloads, climbing to 2.7K by the end of the quarter. Revenue was minimal, with occasional peaks reaching $83.
